RFID inlays are a core component of RFID systems. Unlike complete RFID tags (including printed face material), inlays typically exist as semi-finished products, which can be directly encapsulated in plastic cards, paper labels, metal nameplates, or other media to form the final smart tag for application. Their emergence makes it possible for ordinary items to possess digital identities.
